Just a quick update on where I’m at… furlough continues for me so I’m trying to set up some ways to progress my Brooks Audio, William Breakspear and Slim Blue projects.
One of the big things is the Ableton / sound tutorial series. It’s going well, I’m just waiting on a new logo and then I’ll start posting – exciting!
I’ve been learning a lot about OBS and how to get the best out of my kit… pushing the laptop to deliver stable video as well as running Ableton is tricky on some more advanced topics but I know I can make it work.
I’ve also been setting up a Patreon page, which I hope some people will be interested in. Lots of behind the scenes content and exclusive downloads etc will be available. Watch this space.
The William Breakspear album is nearly done – I’m working with some vocalists to make it super dope and that takes time, but they are all coming out of lockdown creative hibernation, so this should mean I can finish it before the end of the year… then to find a label…
Also on my mind is finishing some more Slim Blue tracks so I can start building a live set… I plan to make a series on the Patreon documenting this process. I’ve just got the masters back for the 2nd Bassrock EP, and a contract for a remix for a Spanish label, so things are moving along!
